Matryoshka

From Silca, the pump brand,
a saddle bag model called
"MATTONE (Mattone)" has come out with a BOA dial for tightening the strap.
A customer ordered one, so I stocked it,

This model comes in multiple sizes,
and since the customer wanted to check the actual size feel,
I stocked all the sizes.
The bag in the image above is the largest size, but

When you undo the strap and open the zipper...

The interior dimensions of the bag are just slightly larger than
the exterior dimensions of the next smaller size bag, and fit perfectly.

And when you unfold this one-size-smaller bag

again...

it has that same relationship where the bag's interior dimensions
are greater than the next size's exterior dimensions and fit nicely.

I pulled out the next size.

When you open this...

an even smaller size bag fits snugly inside.

Inside this smaller bag is...

an even smaller bag...

Just kidding, even though I said "all sizes" at the beginning,
there are actually only 2 sizes.
The matryoshka image loops in the middle.
The size of the BOA dial relative to the bag not changing is also
something to point out.
The larger one has "Grande" inserted in the name "Mattone Pack".

Following the Russian title of Matryoshka,
I initially thought about naming each bag after former Soviet republics,
which would have been somewhat timely and risky,
but that idea was scrapped. In that case it would have been about 15 loops.

A customer said to me, "The desiccant inside Silca's saddle bags
is also silica. The spelling is different though."
Um, excuse me,
could I get credit for noticing that
first?
