Built the rear wheel for Nomu Lab Wheel No. 33

Today it's wheels again (and so on).

I built the rear wheel for Nomu Lab Wheel No. 33.

Single-threaded rear hub, 36H, fully Campagnolo 88 Italian lacing.
I'll do the wiring later.

This is the match to the front wheel I built the other day, and
I built these as wheels for a university tandem race bike.
The regulations specified 14-gauge plain spokes, brass nipples,
36H, tangent lacing, and tubular rim.
Apparently there's no rule against doing radial lacing either.
Since spoke and nipple manufacturers are unspecified, I went with DT.
From what I gathered about the regulations,
I wondered if full radial or full reverse radial in single-cross would still
count as tangent lacing and be OK,
or if a front hub with 100mm quick-release width would be acceptable, and
I could think of all sorts of technicalities,
but since it would be a pain if they said later "that's against regs and we couldn't use it for the race...",
I did go with Italian lacing, but I built it 8-cross instead.
I don't think anyone would say anything about 6-cross,
but with a large-flange 36H,
8-cross is more convenient anyway, so there's no reason not to do it.

It's similar to keirin regulations,
but the difference there is that specified spokes are
either round-butted or aero-butted based on Hoshi's 15-gauge,
and the lacing is specified as 8-cross JIS lacing.
As for the 8-cross spoke length for the Dura-Ace track hub,
Hoshi only provides 305mm as the NJS spoke,
but pipe rim inner diameters are similar regardless of manufacturer,
so whether the rim is Ambrosio Montreal,
Mavic GL330, Niji Countach, or
Fiamme Illide, the length comes out roughly the same.
Since this hub is single-threaded, there's an occhio,
and the spoke lengths differ left and right,
but calculating from actual measurements, the right side comes to 304.9mm,
and the left side 306.2mm, both falling outside the 305mm range.
This happens almost the same way with NJS wheels too, and
with a single-threaded 7600 hub, the calculation shows
the right side at about 305mm and the left side at about 306mm.
But if they differ by 1mm, shorter is better than longer, so
they apparently only offer 305mm.
Certainly, if they prepared both 305mm and 306mm,
using 306mm on the right side would be very bad.

Like the GL280, the number in the model name GL330 is supposedly
the weight spec, but in reality
both are usually heavier than that.
With earlier generations, the so-called "red label" era ones,
the specs are usually about right, for the most part.
