Bora WTO 33333333333 and Apparel and Supplements and Small Fish

Campagnolo Backbone Explosion Sale
The wheel section ended today.
Well, that's what I'd like to say, but it was
essentially finished as of Tuesday the day before yesterday.

↑Bora WTO 33333333333 wheels we had in stock this morning
The one at the very front is disc brake spec,
the rest are rim brake spec.
Some have already been handed over or shipped out
so this isn't the complete number we ordered.

First we sourced the Bora WTO 45 Disc Brake
Dark Label at a loss-leader panda pricing guarantee
(we thought it matched general preferences and current trends),
and both rim brake/disc brake in 33/45/60mm depths
in both Dark Label/Bright Label
anything we special-ordered during the sale period
was guaranteed the loss-leader panda pricing,
but in the end we established an odd record of ordering only 33mm depth WTO wheels.

↑Red anodized rear hub with limited Bora wheels with red lettering, and
DSC01995amx12.jpg
↑like when we had the gold logo limited Speed 40,
the ones I think "maybe I should hold back for my personal use" always sell out.
If it were known that I'm running these wheels on my own bike
after saying they're sold out,
people would find out "that guy said they sold out
but was hoarding them for himself,"
so I'd rather not have that happen anyway,
and I sold every last unit.

Regarding this Bora WTO 33,
for the rim brake spec Shimano freehub body version
the distributor's stock ran dry
so we couldn't even place the order, and
I had to apologize to 3 inquiries we received on Tuesday the day before yesterday.
Even pulling out my personal stash, this is the result.
I'm truly sorry about that.
If I really wanted a WTO 33 myself
I'd just have to wait for a restock, but in that case the purchase price would
definitely exceed the loss-leader panda pricing this time around.

RIMG4956msn5.jpg
↑This is the disc brake spec Dark Label version.
I'm inspecting all the wheels,
except for a slight drift to the left on the rear wheel of this one
there are none with obviously off-center alignment.
On average I did spoke truing at about 2-3 spots,
but conversely, there wasn't a single wheel that didn't need
any nipple adjustment at all.

RIMG4957msn5.jpg
From Friday evening when the distributor's inventory (since they're closed) doesn't change
through Monday morning
our store orders for rim brake 33mm depth Dark Label Shimano
exceeded the distributor's stock, confirming a shortage,
so as a special exception we ordered the Campagnolo freehub body model
and decided to respond with a freehub body swap,

RIMG4960msn5.jpg
For rim brake models, the included brake shoes also needed
to be swapped from Campagnolo spec to Shimano spec.

RIMG4959msn5.jpg
↑This Bright Label was the distributor's last pair.
It wasn't a case of "Dark Label is out so I have no choice,"
they originally wanted Bright Label
so it worked out great.

RIMG4961msn5.jpg
This is a separate case, Bright Label Campagnolo spec not in the opening image,
but due to the customer's frame situation
"the components are Campagnolo but
the brake shoes have to be Shimano spec"
so we specially prepared it with
freehub body Campagnolo / brake shoes Shimano.

Profit? I don't care
↑Those aren't my words
They're the loss-leader destructive panda's words
somebody help me

RIMG4962msn5.jpg
For the rim brake Dark Label
someone wanted Continental 5000S Tubeless Ready
tires installed,
and since I wanted to monitor air loss over time
after inspection I added sealant(imaje) and
mounted the tires.

Current Campagnolo wheels
have the valve hole on the side of the maker name (Campagnolo),
so normally I align the center of the label marked Gran Prix 5000
with the valve phase,
but with Campagnolo wheels sometimes I align them
with Campagnolo and Continental (maker names to maker names),
or Bora WTO and Gran Prix 5000 (model names to model names).

RIMG4965msn5.jpg
But with the Gran Prix 5000S TR
there's no maker name marking on the opposite side of the model name,
and there's only one label, so prioritizing ease of finding the valve
I mounted it so the label sits right below the valve.

That covers the wheel section.
Thank you for your purchases.
The Bora 45 WTO Disc Brake Dark Label are also all
sold or reserved, so that's finished.
For customers wanting SRAM XDR freehub bodies
the freehub body special order will be after the distributor returns from summer break.
For Campagnolo complete wheels,
they only come in Campagnolo or Shimano freehub body versions,
and with SRAM XDR you buy one of the wheels first
then install a separately sold freehub body.
This time too, as a special exception we're selling it
as if it came with XDR freehub spec from the start.
It's just my opinion, but with disc brake wheels
I think there are more SRAM users than Campagnolo users (and so on).

Next up is the apparel section of the Backbone Explosion Sale.
This one is ongoing. Actually I'm not even sure if there's a deadline.
It's definite the sale ends when distributor inventory runs out.
The image above is the third and fourth shipments if we call the first order the first shipment.
Inventory depletion will be announced through shipping updates
(lucky if we get any), but so far we haven't received
anything for Potaggio socks in gray/black and black
in XXL (45-47) size.
Currently we have the fifth and sixth shipments on order,
but until the distributor returns from summer break
we can't confirm if they came through.

RIMG4966msn5.jpg
As promised, we bought supplements etc. said to be very effective for backbone regeneration
from a portion of the sales.
We'll send them to the distributor soon.
The image above is Hyper Drive EAA from the brand Haleo (a Japanese sports supplement brand),
and EAA stands for Essential Amino Acid,
in other words just essential amino acids, but

RIMG4967msn5.jpg
it contains a lot of collagen peptides,
so I went with this one.

RIMG4968msn5.jpg
Regarding Glico's Joint Plus being discontinued
and potential substitute supplements
I received many comments.
Thank you for that.
Some of them mentioned Haleo
(though I was already planning to go with this anyway).
I don't think it's well known, but for people who know it
it probably comes across as an expensive protein brand.
Even when Joint Plus was still current
I once brought something from Haleo as a get-well gift for an acquaintance in the hospital for a fracture,
and that supplement came
in a cylindrical can of powder.

RIMG4969msn5.jpg
Also, I'm including Nature Made Vitamin C as well.
I arbitrarily think it's rather sophisticated that we're deliberately not choosing
their calcium or super calcium here.

RIMG4970msn5.jpg
RIMG4971msn5.jpg
Also some bone cracker mix like a snack for drinking, and

RIMG4972msn5.jpg
RIMG4973msn5.jpg
Almond small fish that's got way more almonds in it than you'd expect.
