Another day working on wheels (and so on...).

This is a continuation from yesterday.
A customer brought me a rear wheel from a 404.

A ZIPP silver hub body that can't be converted to 11-speed, with a radial-laced freewheel side
20 hole, all CX-RAY straight-zero Zionnie laced.
We're going to rebuild this with a hub they brought in,
which will also allow for Shimano 11-speed conversion.
The rim is the same as the front wheel from yesterday,
but this hub is one generation older.
To be precise, even though it's "the same rim,"
rims from this era have the ZIPP "Z" logo aligned with the valve hole,
and stickers on either side of it
that vary depending on the hub's era.
Probably because the front and rear wheels came from different sources,
the stickers were different on each wheel,
so they were likely removed later
to maintain visual consistency.
There were even glue marks where they'd been peeled off.

↑This is a rim from a 303 from a different job,
and it has stickers on both sides of the Z.
The part that's colored as Arcanciels
becomes a different black sticker depending on the era.

↑A 404 with the same ZIPP sticker on the rim as this one
laced radial on the non-freewheel side

I really do have everything in this blog

All laced up.

It's a Circus Monkey HRW1 hub,

20 hole, half-champion-yon laced.
I'll do the lacing pattern later.
