This sale is marked at a uniform
percentage off the tax-included list price, but
considering Oakley's apparel pricing
relative to their eyewear brand image,
the prices are quite reasonable (in my opinion),
so the sale prices have turned out to be pretty incredible.
The prices below are all tax-included list prices.
I won't write down the discount rate (can't, actually).
Endurance Packable Jersey
Tax-included list price ¥11,000
It's a green color with the color name Hunter Green.
Like with the Campagnolo jersey from before,
when it's hanging on our shop hanger, the jersey shape
looks terribly unflattering. That's the downside.
I'm not posting it here, but
if you search for "Endurance Packable Jersey,"
you'll find images that are closer to what it actually looks like when worn.
The "Packable" part of the English model name
is rendered as "PKBLE," which is pack+able, so
it means the jersey compacts down when folded—
though not to palm-size exactly.
Most of the Oakley sale items we saw were
super loose-fitting and lacked back pockets,
designed for MTB. But we've stocked
two road-oriented jerseys with back pockets
and a tighter fit. This is one of them.
There are three back pockets,
but only the rightmost pocket has
a nylon textile finish,
and separately from the pockets, there's a zippered storage compartment.
It's not completely waterproof,
but it seems like it would protect against light rain.
Next, the same Endurance Packable Jersey in
Amber Yellow, a yellow color name.
↑ The lower part of the jersey has
this pattern,
and the green one also has the same pattern,
though in a subtler color scheme.
This jersey also comes in Forged Iron (gray) and Ultra Purple,
but we're focusing our stock on green and yellow.
If you want different sizes or colors,
we can special order from our distributor if they have stock,
but many items are low in distributor stock and several are completely sold out.
Also, looking at the jersey tag,
it says US/EU Size M,
Japan Size L,
so technically it's one size off. But
the body isn't outrageously oversized.
Still, I thought we'd need some Size S as well,
and yesterday—Wednesday is our day off—
I went to the distributor directly and brought some back myself.
Oh, Forged Iron looks like this color.
My usual digital camera's color shifts around,
so this time I shot with my phone,
and it captures colors pretty close to what you'd see in person.
Next is the second jersey model,
the Point to Point Jersey.
Tax-included list price ¥6,600.
The color name is also Forged Iron, same as the earlier jersey.
We haven't stocked it, but
there's also a color called Blackout, which is nearly all black.
The waist is more tapered than the Endurance Packable Jersey,
but the tag says Regular Fit.
The Endurance jersey, by contrast,
had a sizing category called Performance Fit.
The back pockets are regular in the middle,
with flapped pockets on both sides.
Plus, on both sides of the jersey itself, there are
mesh pockets like on a Deuter backpack
mesh pockets, so five total.
Since they're mesh, heavy items would swag around,
but I just thought of a use case:
you could throw in gel wrapper wrappers with sticky
molasses residue so your main pocket doesn't get messy.
Or putting a red-blinking rear light in the right pocket
or clipping it there might be nice too.
Elements Packable Jacket
Tax-included list price ¥7,700
It's a green color with the color name Hunter Green.
More of a thicker windbreaker than a thin jacket, really.
The sleeves are quite long.
This and the next jacket have
pretty affordable list prices to begin with.
The distributor is sold out of this one,
and we only have Size M, just the one in stock.
There's a horizontal zipper pocket on the back,
and I figured that with "Packable" in the name,
you'd flip it inside-out and stuff it in there
to make it more portable,
but the zipper pull is only on one side,
so that doesn't seem to be the intention.
I didn't try it since it would probably wrinkle.
My old Montbell windbreaker has a zippered pocket on the left arm
where you can stuff the windbreaker itself to compress it to palm-size.
In reality though, when I carry it, I just fold it loosely
and toss it in a jersey pocket—
I don't bother with the flip-inversion storage.
But I do remember one time in cherry blossom season when several of us went for a ride,
and during a break at a shrine, I collected fallen petals,
stuffed them in that left arm pocket,
and when I was leading the group, I'd pull out petals with my right hand
and throw them back with my palm facing the riders behind me
to shower them with cherry blossoms.

and I can't believe it's under ¥20,000 for this.
It's Poseidon, a blue color name, Size M.
Since I'm being specific about sizes, you might have guessed,
but the distributor is sold out here too, so it's limited stock.
The inside has brushed fleece fabric and looks warm.
Also, this jacket is quite heavy when you pick it up.
The tag says Regular Fit,
and the earlier Elements Packable Jacket also says
Regular Fit, but
the jackets' fit actually feels closer to
the Endurance Jersey's
Performance Fit.
Since it's a final outer layer, maybe it's designed to be roomier.
They really seem insistent on having pockets—
there are three quite deep and spacious ones.
Depending on hand size, you can fit your palm in
with fingers slightly spread, that's how roomy they are.

I wondered if the orange part might be reflective material (←it wasn't),

It's a brushed-fleece neck gaiter, but it's so

and here it is next to the earlier gloves for comparison.
In actual use, you'd scrunch it up around your neck
to create an air layer,
and you can pull it up to cover your nose if needed.
