Another wheel day (and so on).

A customer dropped off the rear wheel for a ZIPP 404 NSW
set up for rim brakes.
I took a photo of the whole thing before starting work,
but there was an identifying sticker near the valve hole on the freewheel side,
so it didn't make it into the post.
At first, this wasn't supposed to involve a rebuild,
but that's what ended up happening.
When I received it, the condition was
the rim was massively out of true on the non-freewheel side
(about the thickness of a 500 yen coin),
but since it was the result of the customer's own work,
I won't be harsh about it.
The original setup was all-black CX-RAY Straight
spokes, forced 2-cross lacing on both sides.

All built up.

Shot of the non-freewheel side.
I forgot to mention this earlier,
but the rim is a clincher type that's not tubeless-compatible.

Rim brake Cognition
V1/Gen1 (Version 1 Generation 1) hub
24H with black Champion spokes on the freewheel side
and laced on the non-freewheel side.
There are things I want to apply to the spoke threads,
and some of the new Sapim B washers had installation direction issues,
so I reused the non-freewheel side spokes,
but I did a complete teardown of the wheel.
As proof, let me tell you the measured weight of the rim... just kidding
↑wow this guy's got bad vibes

Sorry for the wait!
It's still mounted on the stand though.

Please take a look at this image!
↑Stop it right now!
