Built the front wheel for Nomu Lab Wheel #5 using a Gokiso hub

Another day of wheel building (and so on).

A customer left me with a pair of complete Gokiso wheels.
The sticker on the rim has been peeled off,
but given the unusually thick bead hook width
that was custom-ordered from Equinox,
there's no doubt this is a Gokiso brand rim.

Equinox rims have a label embedded in the outer perimeter
showing the year they came out of the mold,
and a sticker near the valve hole on the rim side
(appearing on the left) showing the year of shipment.
Usually these two years match, or the latter is one year later,
but on this rim the former was 2015 and the latter was 2016.

The customer wanted me to build Nomu Lab Wheel #5
using just the hub,
and requested a silver rim.
The AL22 silver rim has been on long-term backorder—
we had 20H in stock,
but 24H was waiting for arrival (timeline unclear),
so I told the customer that if it takes too long,
I'd temporarily build the rear wheel with a black rim for free
(they can swap it for silver once it arrives).
And then the silver rim finally came in the other day.

It's built.
I'll peel off the rim sticker,
but since the 20H is from our stock,
it's the old spec with
"the sticker with red color already applied from the start."
Regarding the new spec where
"a monotone sticker is included with the rim for you to apply yourself if you want," see (→here)

20H CX-RAY counter-radial lacing.

This hub has a structure where struts extending from the hub shell
like gnarled pine roots keep the hub flanges lifted,
so even with radial lacing,
hub flange deformation from spoke tension wouldn't cause
bearing play, I'd think,
but I skipped it this time.
The original state is also counter-radial lacing anyway.

I thought of it before building the wheel.
