Back to wheels again today (and so on).

Continuing from the other day.
I extracted just the hub from the Gokiso rear wheel
and rebuilt it into the Nomu Lab Wheel No. 5 rear wheel.

The rim is a custom-ordered Equinox rim
given the model number WH197,
and the 24R designation means it's for 24-hole rear use.

It was removed from the mold in 2015,

and after cosmetic finishing like sticker application
and final preparation, it reached shippable condition
also in 2015.
Just like with the front rim, this difference
where the latter date is a year later is fairly common.
I had assumed this rear wheel was
a complete wheel assembled in-house by Gokiso,
given details like the anti-freewheel-side radial spoking,
but apparently that's not the case. It's possible that
a lousy shop or an amateur assembled a Gokiso hub with a Gokiso-branded rim.
Honestly, I'd rather it be that way,
because it was assembled incorrectly in every conceivable way.
I'll get the backstory from the customer and cover this in a separate post.

All built.

Gokiso hub, 24-hole, semi-comp 4x6 lacing.
I'll do the lacing tie-offs later.
Since this 24H rim arrived after a long period of being out of stock,
it comes without stickers from the factory.

I peeled the sticker off the front wheel, but
sure enough, fingerprints were left on the adhesive backing underneath.
