Another wheel day (and so on).

A customer left me a front wheel from a ZIPP 303 to work on.

ZIPP 76 hub, 24H, all-black CX Sprint 4x4 lacing.
Since it's not a straight-pull spoke hub,
there's more room for improvement if we rebuild it.
The spokes are CX Sprint on both sides,
but ZIPP uses asymmetrical lacing on left and right,
so they don't adopt spokes with greater specific gravity than CX-RAY—
rather, it's just a way to intentionally make the wheel heavier compared to the higher-end model
so that the higher-end model looks better to those buyers
who only care about the stated weight specification.

The nipples were the type that could be turned from the outer edge,
but since they were brass nipples, I decided not to reuse them.
Also, two of Sapim's new B washers
were deformed in the lateral direction on the rim, so I'm replacing those too.

If I don't replace all the nipples,
I'd only be replacing spokes on one side,
so technically it would be possible to rebuild
without peeling off the rim tape.

But given that sealant had seeped in from where the tape ended,
and considering the full nipple replacement,
I peeled off the rim tape
and completely disassembled the wheel.

Built it up.

I made the right side black CX-RAY 6x spoke lacing
and black half CX Sprint 6x4 reverse Italian lacing.
I'll do the spoke threading later.
