Rebuilt the front wheel assembled with Tni's ROAD50 rim

Another day working on wheels (and so on).

I received a front wheel from a customer built with Tni's 50mm high modulus carbon rim,
the same rim as the Nomu Lab Wheel 2.5.
This rim has stickers applied at two points showing the year:
when it came out of the molding press,
and when final finishing was completed.
Sometimes the latter is a year after the former,
and sometimes they're in the same year,
but this rim had 2011 on both.

A TUFO S33 PRO tubular is taped on,
but the valve is fixed at an angle.
With tape instead of rim cement,
you'd think there'd be infinite time to correct it (until the tape is pulled out)...

Evo hub, 18H, Sapim Race spokes,
laced in reverse radial pattern.

After releasing spoke tension, I cut and removed the spokes,
and the spoke length matched my calculated measurement.
Checking the spoke length has significance
in terms of what benefits the customer.

A front wheel laced radial on both sides
with the centering this far off—
that's some seriously sloppy work.

Rebuilt it.

At the customer's request, I switched the spokes to CX-RAY.
I cleaned the hub end pieces after removing as much rust as possible.
