Wheels again today (and so on).

A customer left me a front wheel laced with
a Tni 50mm high-carbon rim—
the same rim as the Nomulab Wheel 2.5.
This rim gets a sticker when it comes out of the mold
and again when final finishing is done,
each showing the year of that stage.
Sometimes the latter is a year after the former,
sometimes they're the same year,
but on this rim both stickers said 2011.

A TUFO S33 PRO tubular glued on with tape,
but the valve is fixed at an angle.
With tape instead of rim cement,
you'd think there'd be infinite time to correct it (until you pull the tape out)...

Evo hub, 18H, Sapim Race spokes,
outpoke radial lacing.
I cut and discard the spokes after releasing tension,
and the spoke length matched my calculation exactly.
Checking the spoke length does matter
in terms of what benefits the customer.

A front wheel with radial lacing on both sides
with centering this far off?
That's just pathetic workmanship.

Rebuilt it.

Per the customer's request, I switched the spokes to CX-RAY.
I've also cleaned the hub end parts thoroughly,
removing rust as much as possible beforehand.
