Built a front wheel with rim brakes using a
lightweight rim with no holes on the rim's outer edge except for the valve hole.
I built it with a hub designed for rim brakes, so
it's not just a "rim brake wheel" in that sense—

the brake zone has directional machining characteristics,
so the rim itself is designed specifically for rim brakes.
