I recently bought what you might call a replica of a certain foreign language book that was just published.

↑This is "The Accomplishments of Kamala Harris."
Before I introduce the contents, here's an excerpt from the reviews on Amazon in the US:
This is truly a book you can't put down once you start turning the pages.
I couldn't let go of it until I finished reading the whole thing.
Must read. I finished it all at once.
I love this author. This book accurately describes
all the accomplishments Kamala has achieved in her lifetime,
and doesn't omit a single thing.
Anyone can read it and grasp the key points,
and even the blind won't miss anything.
I've read about half of this book, and I have to say
it's one of the most interesting books I've ever read.
I especially like how it leaves plenty of margins
so readers can draw pictures or take notes.
It's been getting rave reviews like these, and currently has a rating of ★4.7.
As for the actual content,

After the chapter heading at the beginning of each chapter,
there's a preface, and

Chapter 1 Economic Policy

...this chapter is completely blank.

Chapter 2 Public Safety

...this chapter is also completely blank.
To be precise, every page just has the page number.

Chapter 3 Education
...and from here on, every chapter except for the chapter title page is blank.
What a tasteless jab this is. ←don't talk
This book costs ¥2,521 on Amazon Japan,
but in the US it's $14.99,
which at today's exchange rate works out to about ¥2,275,
so if you factor in shipping from America,
it's not that expensive.

But actually, this book

is being bound domestically within Japan,
and the defect inquiry address
is Amazon Japan.
If Amazon founder Jeff Bezos were a Democrat supporter,
he probably wouldn't localize a book like this
(his official statement says "I support neither side").
If you import the original edition,
you'd have to add shipping costs of $12.27
on top of the $14.99 I mentioned earlier.
I bought this book thinking of it as an expensive memo pad
(there's way more blank space than Fermat could excuse),
so I don't particularly mind,
but I'm sure plenty of people think buying something like this is idiotic.
Even I think it's crazy that such a thing exists, but
incredibly, this book has an e-book version
(US price $6.99, ¥992 in Japan).
Personally, when I consider that the book was published for a reason
and that it's not wasting ink,

this book seemed to have more content than that.
↑tasteless jab

I'll introduce this within the scope of fair use.
The image above is not a setup or anything—
it's just a page I opened at random.
Apparently, wheels laced anti-freewheel radial tend to excel in lateral stiffness.
The blank pages might be better
than writing lies
I bought this book at a bookstore.
It was at what used to be the Tokyu Hands
along Nagahori-dori in its final days,
where the basement level had a bookstore.
If someone wants to buy this book,
I won't stop them,
but they shouldn't read the Amazon reviews.
