A customer dropped off a Bora 35 rear wheel with me.

One spoke is broken.

The spoke itself shows no deformation — it's perfectly straight.
Only the spoke nipple has cleanly snapped off.

Not caused by dropping the chain inside the small chainring,
contact with the rear derailleur pulley cage,
the wheel coming loose from the kickstand while spinning,
starting off while forgetting about a cable lock,
a crash, a mamachari (Japanese utility bike) hitting from the side,
or the Yodogawa Metal Stag Beetle (※) getting to it—
this is just a regular spoke nipple break.
Though I call it "regular,"
this is actually the rarer case.
