A customer dropped off the front wheel from a Racing Zero Competizione (high-end Italian wheelset) for repair.

One spoke was bent,
and it was causing runout at that particular point.

The customer said they hit their cycling shoe's toe
when dismounting and stopping.


All fixed.

You can clearly see the bend in the spoke,

but there was also a sliding mark from something hard on the spoke's side.
So rather than just the toe hitting it, I'd say the hard sole
scraped along and struck it more of a glancing blow.
