Another day, another wheel (and so on).

Continuing from yesterday.
I built up a rear wheel using
an Open Pro UST rim for rim brakes.

660 hub, 24H, black semi-competition 4-cross pattern
with silver aluminum nipples.
I'll do the truing later.
Again, I had that feeling of
"getting better at building wheels,"
and right up to the final state, the rim seemed to guide the build along
—everything went together smoothly and quickly.
If I had to put words to that distinctive feeling
of Mavic's French-made hand-built wheel rims,
that would be it.
