Rebuilt the rear wheel for WH-R8170-C50

Another wheel day (and so on).

A customer left me an Ultegra C50 rear wheel to work on.

Despite its appearance suggesting decent rim depth and all,
there's definitely some regret about buying such a crappy wheel.
They haven't quite said they want me to rebuild it to offset that sunk cost,
but they did ask for a rebuild.

Got it built.

Revo disc hub, 24H, Shimano 12-speed specific.
Black semi-comp, 46-spoke JIS lacing.
I'll do the lacing pattern later, but even without it,
it should ride better than the shelf stock version.

This rim has almost the same weight as a Roviall CLX50 of the same rim depth.
The difference is that the Ultegra rim
has no lateral runout in the spoke holes, at least,
so even if the original wheel was 2:1 laced,
it can be rebuilt with equal spoke counts left and right.
If the Roviall rim
didn't have a clear left-right-left hole offset
(if it's Ж lacing you'd write right-left-right,
but they write left-right-right because it's Х lacing)
I'd probably use a Revo disc hub more often.
What? You want specific weights and sources?
I'm not gonna hand that out so easily
↑wow this guy's got bad vibes
