Another wheel build today (and so on).
Building the rear wheel with a Grail CB7 rim
to match the front wheel I built the other day.
When building both front and rear wheels with the same rim and spoke count,
I put the lighter one on the rear wheel.
Unmarked straight-gauge hub, 28 spokes
Half-CX sprint, forced 3-cross lacing both sides
with rainbow-colored (VAS) nipples.
I'll do the nipple twisting later.
Among the rainbow-colored nipples,
there were some turquoise aluminum nipples,
but I rejected some that had finishing defects or spec differences.
This is visible on the left side of the image above.
The grip portion was oddly short.
