Replaced the rim on a front wheel built with a CX22 rim

Another wheel day (and so on).

I received a front wheel built with a Tni CX22 tubular rim from a customer.

It has a red sticker from our shop (Kanikōsen, a local bike shop in Kanto).
This red sticker has acquisition conditions and possession limits.
The acquisition condition is that you've actually visited our shop and ordered a hand-built wheel at some point.
The possession limit is one sticker per person.
The "one per person" just means you can't have two at the same time,
so if someone with the red sticker loses it
or if the wheel they put it on gets replaced,
we'll reissue the sticker infinitely to those who qualify.
That's the case with this wheel today, actually.

I don't know if it's rare or not,
but there should be around 100 people with red stickers in the Kanto region.
This is separate from today's wheel, but
someone from Chiba Prefecture brought in a carbon rim to our shop today.
When we build that wheel, we'll give them a red sticker too.

It has a brake zone and can be used with cantilever brake bikes... or rather,
this rim already existed before road disc brakes came along.

Since this wheel is used with disc brakes,
I'm not concerned at all about rim cement dripping on the rim sides.

Whether from a crash or hard landing,
the rim had developed a bend, and to true it up
I'd have to either loosen the low-tension side abnormally
or tighten the high-tension side even more beyond its limit,
so I'm replacing the rim.

At the time this front wheel was built, it didn't exist yet,
but now there's a disc brake version of the CX22 rim
without a brake zone
(the traditional CX22 rim still remains in production)

So I'm transferring things to that rim...

All built.

It's not a half-CX sprint because
this wheel was built before CX sprint spokes became available.

I reused all the hub and spokes and replaced the rim and nipples entirely.
