Another day with wheels (and so on).

I took in the Nomu Lab Wheel No. 5 for service.
It was supposed to be just an inspection,

but they wanted me to change the reverse spokes to regular spokes,

and change the nipple color to red,
so I ended up needing to completely rebuild both wheels.

The rear hub is a PowerTap, so I pulled the axle out to inspect it.
Since this wheel's previous life was a rebuild from "a rim with a PowerTap sticker,"
it already had heat shrink tubing on it from that time.
Actually, this is the first time I've seen heat shrink tubing that's been sitting around for a decent amount of time,
but it's holding up without deteriorating or rotting. Good job, heat shrink tubing.

Rebuilt.

I'll do the spoke truing tomorrow.
(I've got various other wheels waiting for truing anyway)
