Continental Tire Price Increase Coming

Some Continental tire models will see a price increase starting
March 2nd
(Not March 1st because that's a Sunday).
The wholesaler calls it a "price revision,"
but since there isn't a single item being discounted,
it's fair to call it a price hike.

I haven't mentioned this to customers up until now,
but it seems many people already know about it—
our shop's inventory of the Grand Prix 5000 keeps selling out
every time I restock it.

↑This is today's restocking and
orders from customers.
Separately from this, I received about 8 more orders today.

For road WO tires,
there are 3 models with price increases.
Listed as old price (including tax) → new price / increase rate:
Grand Prix 5000
¥12,100 → ¥13,750 / 13.6%
Grand Prix 5000 TT TR
¥18,700 → ¥21,670 / 15.8%
Gator Skin
¥8,500 → ¥11,440 / 34.5%

The tubeless-ready regular model
Grand Prix 5000 S TR
had a price increase previously, so
there's no "price revision" this time.

There's a possibility that the wholesaler's inventory will run out
or pretend to run out
before March 2nd arrives,
so if you regularly use Grand Prix 5000 tires,
I'd recommend securing yours sooner rather than later.
