A customer left a Cosmic Carbon Pro with me for service.

The Cosmic Carbon was originally supplied only to pro riders as a full carbon tubular rim wheelset,
but it was retailed for a short period.
The reason it was discontinued is that it was replaced by the Ultimate.
Just as the customer mentioned beforehand, "the rear wheel center is misaligned,"
it was indeed off-center, but aside from that, it only needed minor truing work.

The sticker is removed, but
there are areas where the yellow has settled into the rim's voids.
The clear coating is thick and most voids are filled in,
but this is a characteristic of Corima rims.
This rim has it too (→here)

Also, there's foam urethane-like material filled inside the rim
(actually, in reverse order—carbon is wrapped around a urethane core)
tire stitch-relief grooves, and extremely offset spoke holes on the rim,
so if this weren't a Corima rim, Corima would have a right to complain—
these specs are unmistakably Corima's.

Like the Cosmic Carbon Ultimate and Ksyrium SL Premium,
the rear wheel's right end nut is titanium (deliberately colored blue).
When this was released it was a flagship model, so that was only natural,
but the Comet, a disc wheel that's supposedly more expensive,
has a silver-colored steel end nut.
