A customer brought in a WH-7900-C35-CL.
They wanted to convert it to 11-speed.
The freebody isn't compatible, so that's not possible (→see here).
I explained that to them, but then they asked—what if we use this wheel's rim and build it up with a standard 11-speed hub instead?
So that's what we did.
Evolite hub (エボライトハブ), 20H, black half-comp 4-cross pattern, black spokes with nip ends. The time it took to disassemble the original wheel was about the same as the time it took to rebuild it. It was a tricky wheel to take apart.
