A customer brought in a WH-7850 C24 WO wheel for service.

The customer didn't report any specific problems,
but asked for a general inspection.
I corrected some lateral runout from years of use,
and adjusted centering issues on both front and rear wheels.
What was unusual was that the flat sections of the aero spokes
were twisted in various directions at multiple points.
Aero spoke twisting itself isn't uncommon to see,
but it typically only happens on wheels with loose spoke tension.
This time, despite both wheels having fairly decent tension,
the spokes were twisted here and there, which was puzzling.

Apparently the customer rode flat during a brevet event,
which left the rim bead hook heavily scraped.
I gently filed the scraped area just enough
that you can barely feel it to the touch.
If the brake shoe position is lowered about 0.5mm from the rim top,
there will be no issues with how it feels in use.
