Another wheel day (and so on...).


Built a wheel with a Mavic Open Pro.
I'd recommended the Nomu Lab Wheel #1,
but the customer had to use Mavic for political reasons,
so it ended up being an Open Pro.

Since I wanted to reduce the spoke count,
I went with the black Open Pro in 28H spec.

For the front wheel, I built an Evolite 28H hub with CX-RAY outpoke radial lacing.
With spoke counts this low, you'd normally use tangent lacing to make hub cleaning easier,
but since that doesn't affect performance,
I decided not to worry about it.

For the rear wheel, I built an Evolite 28H hub with semi-comp 2-cross lacing and spoke nipples.
Since CX-RAY spokes in the length needed for 4-cross lacing don't exist,
it ended up being 2-cross lacing.
