A customer left a Zonda (Italian wheel brand) with me for service.

The rear wheel had some centering issues, but
from how much play the center gauge showed, it seemed minor to me...
though the customer told me "that's way off!"
This level of misalignment is pretty common, actually.
The front wheel checked out fine for centering before I touched it,
but it had runout here and there, so I was careful not to touch too many spots
since tinkering could cause it to go out of true during the work.
In situations like this, sometimes it's actually easier to work on if the wheel is slightly out of true to begin with.
