Mavic, which popularized the de facto industry standard
for tubeless specifications in MTBs,
「UST TUBELESS」,
is oddly passive when it comes to road tubeless.
The pioneers of road tubeless are
Shimano's WH-7801SL wheels and
Hutchinson Fusion 2 tubeless tires,
and even now Hutchinson, the largest manufacturer of tubeless tires,
is a French maker and also a tire supplier for Mavic's wheel-tire systems
(initially it was Vittoria, but)
so it should be easy for them to release
Hutchinson road tubeless-compatible Ksyriums and such.
Also, the difference between Crossmax and Ksyrium is
roughly speaking just rim width and rim diameter,
so making a Ksyrium with a hump should be doable right away.

I tested a 2006 model Ksyrium ES
to see if there was any air leakage
when installing tubeless valves and tires.

The tire is a Maxxis Padrone tubeless,
and after leaving it at 8 bar for a full day, the air loss wasn't that bad.
Note: no sealant used.
Actually, the latex tube on Vittoria's Corsa CX tubular
holds air pressure worse than this, so there's no problem with air retention.
Since there's no hump, if you get a puncture while riding,
there's a danger of the tire coming off instantly,
but separate from that

This content met the conditions for the thought police to act,
so it got deleted in an instant.
