A customer dropped off their usual ROVAL bike with me.


Both the front and rear wheels had runout, and the rear wheel in particular
had such severe centering issues that you couldn't sell it as-is.

So the customer didn't order this online—they bought it at a shop.
When I said, "Well, you should've asked them to do a pre-delivery inspection when you bought it,"
they told me about some pretty sketchy service they got from that shop,
which made it all make sense.
I won't go into specifics since it might identify the place.

But then the question is: why buy from such a shop in the first place?
Well, ROVAL wheels (or "Rovale" as the Japanese distributor calls it)
can only be purchased through Specialized dealers.
