A customer dropped off a front wheel with an Open Pro rim and Chris King hub.
32H, all competition reverse radial laced.
I built this one myself back in the day,
but the customer wanted it converted to tangent lacing.
Done!
Built it all back up as all competition 6-cross Italian laced.
Looking at the metadata on the photos from before truing,
the two pre-rebuild shots were 18:25,
and the two post-rebuild shots were 18:59,
so including the time to disassemble from the original state,
I got it rebuilt in 34 minutes.
That's probably got a lot to do with this being an Open Pro rim.
There's no other rim that builds with such clean accuracy so immediately—one where you can see the finish line right from the initial loose lacing.
