Nomu Lab Wheel #33 is Complete

After dragging it out for a while, I finally got Nomu Lab Wheel #33 built up.

Well, let me get the negative stuff out of the way first.
Everything here is 36H.
There really aren't that many 36H hubs available in Campagnolo or Campagnolo-compatible options,
so I went with a 36H Shimano hub for this build.
As I mentioned before, I'm using the 6700 Ultegra hub, which maximizes the left flange width
among Shimano hubs.
I was thinking about doing a 48-spoke rear wheel, but
the 8-spoke configuration on the non-freehub side with a small-flange hub and low rim
can exceed 30X mm (censored due to Meshinota Code restrictions),
which would make certain spokes difficult to source. Considering these circumstances, I went with a 6-spoke pattern instead.

For the front wheel, I was torn between doing a tangential or radial pattern.
There's the aero, light, and vertically stiff radial pattern,
or the charm, trueness, and charm of the tangential pattern—it's a tough call.
I think I just said "charm" twice, but don't worry about it.
In the end, I went with 6-spoke.
Since this is a 36H wheel, I prioritized a classic aesthetic.

W-what is this?

The rim's catalog weight is 330g, and the actual measured weight is 352g—quite light,
so this becomes a wheel with light outer sections.
(The measured weight of a Tni Carbon 38 is 347g, for comparison.)

Because the 6700 hub isn't particularly light and there are 36 spokes,
the wheel's actual measured weight is 769g front and 960g rear—
it feels reasonably hefty when you pick it up, but it should feel light when you ride it.

The build went smoothly despite the rim's light weight.
Maybe the 36H spoke count also helps with the ease of building.

This time I built it as a complete wheel with the 6700 hub,
but we can also build it to order if you specify a different hub or bring one of your own.

I'd recommend a 48-spoke pattern for the rear, but

the front can also be done radial.

Since there are only 6 rims, I can only build 3 pairs.
I've already built 1 pair as a complete wheel, so only 2 pairs remain for orders.
For this 6700 hub and DT Competition spoke configuration, the front and rear set is ¥33,000 (tax included).
I didn't deliberately make it ¥33,000 because it's wheel #33 (laughs).
It just came out that way when I did the math properly.

I'll also update and revise the Nomu Lab Wheel catalog (→here).

↑For those thinking, "36H has a lot of spokes, huh?"
Here's a comparison photo that might make you feel differently about it.
