WH-9000-C24-CL Customer

I received a 9000 WO wheel from a customer's father for service.

The customer lives far away, but his father always brings the bike in for him.
There was some roughness in the front hub's rotation,
so I disassembled both front and rear hubs since an overhaul was requested.

They weren't particularly dirty.
No parts replacement was necessary.

I was a bit concerned about the rear hub's freewheel side—

but after cleaning the ball races,
there were no signs of pitting at all, so no issues.

The rear wheel's center was significantly misaligned, with lateral runout visible almost everywhere.
The rim was shifted toward the freewheel side,
but since most of the lateral runout was detected at the non-freewheel side spoke nipples,
it appeared that only the non-freewheel side nipples had loosened, causing the rim to shift toward the freewheel side.
Because the slack was uneven across the nipples, runout was present,
but carefully tightening them gradually corrected it beautifully.
Since I adjusted it almost entirely with retightening,
the spoke tension, which was clearly slack before, is now at proper spec.
