I received a Racing 1 from a customer for service.

The rear wheel has some rim run-out from years of use—just barely noticeable—
and the front wheel has run-out about the thickness of a one-yen coin.
Both wheels had wobbles here and there, so I trued them completely.
During the work, a spoke suddenly snapped, but in cases like this,
there's almost always visible twisting or a feeling of weakness beforehand.
Spokes rarely just break without warning.
I'm just glad it didn't break while riding.
