I've been thinking about this for a while now,

but the circumference of a 700C tubular rim—measuring the tire seating surface and excluding the valve hole—comes out to about 1970mm.
That's just under 2 meters.

So if I use Miyata's tubelar tape (the 20-meter roll) wisely,
I could get exactly 10 uses out of it.
Now, "tubelar tape" is my own little joke.
The correct spelling of tubular is "Tubular,"
but Miyata's rim tape is spelled "Tubelar" on the package—a typo they've never bothered to fix—
so I call it that instead.

Miyata sells the TTP-1 in a 20-meter roll
and the TTP-2 in a 5-meter roll,
but 5 meters is an awkward two-and-a-half uses.
I wish they'd make it 6 meters instead... but looking at the packaging,
5 meters is already at the limit of what fits.
It doesn't look like they could squeeze in another meter.
Then I thought—the core is actually pretty large, so if they made the core smaller,
the package could stay the same size and still fit 6 meters.

So I wrote them a letter.

The goat isn't entirely trustworthy, but if I explain it properly,
it should be okay.
If this actually results in the TTP-2 becoming 6 meters, I'll think about stocking more.

P.S.: I received a very fair comment saying "That doesn't look like an ordinary black goat at all."
