A customer brought in a Racing 3 for service.
The front wheel had some play in the hub, but the runout was minimal.
The rear wheel had lateral runout, centering issues, and play in the hub,
but since there were no serious defects like dents in the rim,
it cleaned up nicely.
It had been fitted with a Shimano 11-speed freebody,
and a 1.85mm spacer was in place to adapt the 11-speed freebody for 10-speed use.
However, the 1.0mm low spacer that's needed on the sprocket side wasn't there, so I added it.
Not just this time, but whenever an 11-speed Shimano freebody is fitted with a 10-speed sprocket,
it's extremely common to find that only the 1.85mm spacer is installed
when both the 1.85mm and 1.0mm spacers are actually required.
This time I caught it because the lockring position was oddly far inboard
relative to the right end nut.
