A customer brought in a wheel with a name that just keeps going after "Cosmic."

Though really, this customer is more of a rider from some well-known racing team.
Anyway, moving on—

Once again, the QC on this shipment doesn't disappoint—in the bad way.
The rim is shifted toward the non-drive side, and that's really problematic.
If I loosen the non-drive side, I could fix this amount of centering error easily enough, but
tightening the drive side to correct it isn't simple at all.
Plus, the customer mentioned that the wheel will rub when he mashes hard,
so loosening isn't really an option.
I somehow managed to get it dead center with pretty much just a drive-side tightening correction.

Cosmic Carbon traditionally came with 20H non-drive side radial lacing
using #13 aero spokes (pretty flat),
and Ksyrium Elite came with 20H drive-side radial lacing
using #14 aero spokes (moderately flat),
but this one claims the Cosmic name yet has drive-side radial lacing.
What's even bolder is that it's 24H.
Except in cases of ultra-deep rims,
if 20H were truly superior to 24H overall for steel-spoke rear wheels,
I'd be using it on my in-house built wheels.
Though to be honest, the bigger reason is that 24H is the minimum spoke count
that makes 4-cross lacing feasible without strain.
