A customer brought in a Ksyrium Pro Disc for service.

The front wheel had a history of truing work, and since they'd focused on lateral truing only,
there was some radial runout. But since the customer did it themselves, no worries.
Both wheels had center offset issues and some fine lateral runout,
but it straightened out pretty smoothly.

I've mentioned this before on here, but it's been a while so let me say it again.
With Mavic's 6-bolt rotor mounts, if the mounting bolts are too long,
they'll contact the hub body and bend the rotor mount alignment, so be careful.
The image is of a front hub, but some models have even tighter clearances,
and bolt protrusion is barely tolerated in some cases.

↑This is the image I use to confirm the model name when writing,
but the surface finish on this rim is... could it be

Yep, looks like paint after all.
And while I'm at it, since this is an early 2015 model, it's a narrow rim.
With this wheel and the next article's wheel,
I've filled in another gap in the Mavic aluminum spoke lineup.
Much appreciated, much appreciated(Genpei Tōma Den)
