Another day working on wheels (and so on).

A customer dropped off the rear wheel from a Nomu Lab Wheel No. 5 (custom Japanese wheel builder).

The other day while riding, the rear wheel picked up a huge piece of wire lying on the road,
which snapped the dropout and drove the rear derailleur right into the wheel.
As a result, only the spokes on the freewheel side (in the porcupine pattern direction) got completely bent and broken.
I dealt with it by replacing all 7 spokes (it's a 28H wheel) and truing the wheel.
I had a feeling the rim was warped, and there was some minor variation in spoke tension—
the kind of thing you'd never see on a brand new wheel—
but I thought if it held up after this, that would be good enough,
so I didn't replace the rim at first. Turns out it really is warped.

So I decided to relocate the rim

to a new one.
The old rim really was slightly warped, as I suspected.
I also replaced all the nipples, not just the rim.
The Evolight hub 28H with half comp and four-cross lacing with brasing is the same as before.
Since 28H rims for the XR200 are rare, please take care of yours.
For Tni AL22, this hole count isn't available.
While checking that just now on Tri Sports' website (shameless plug), I noticed they have the AL27 and ED30 rims.

On the non-freewheel side, there was one CX-RAY crossing I wanted to replace,
so I swapped it out and tied it in.
