Another day of wheels (abbreviated from here on).
Rim relocations are technically counted under "today is also wheels (abbreviated)" per house rules,
but since I'm building a separate wheel today, there's no problem.

A customer brought in the rear wheel of their Nomu Lab Wheel #5.
They mentioned replacing the rim from the get-go, so I was curious what the issue was.
When I gave it a spin, it had that potato chip-like wobble,
and it was obvious at a glance that repair was out of the question, so

I relocated the rim.
The hub looks suspiciously clean because I washed it before the relocation.
I did this while the rim was still old to avoid water droplets getting into the new rim.

Wheel is built.

Record hub, 32H, half-comp 4-cross lacing with connectors.

I removed the freebody after the wheel was built.
I judged that hub lubrication wasn't necessary,
but I did clean and lubricate the ratchet mechanism of the freebody.
Removing and reinstalling the right endnut can shift the wheel center
(only if it was already loose), but it didn't change this time.

The pawl spring was bent, so

I replaced it.

As I mentioned earlier, I've cleaned the ratchet area.

This is the rim before rebuilding, and when I press one side to the floor

the opposite side lifts this much.
