Another day of wheel building (and so on...).

I've assembled Nomu Lab Wheel No. 1.

The front wheel is an Evolite hub 20H with CX-RAY spokes laced in reverse radial pattern,

and the rear wheel is an Evolite hub 24H with semi-comp 24-cross lacing.
I'll true the wheels later.

Per the customer's request, I went with gold aluminum nipples.

The CX-RAY spokes we use for Nomu Lab Wheel No. 1 come in even-millimeter lengths for both front and rear left, so I keep them on hand in pre-cut ready-to-use lengths.
But when I did the initial build for the front wheel, I noticed something was off—there was a round-butted spoke mixed in.
If I'd processed it with the spoke cutter, I would've caught it right then.

↑Left is the culprit spoke, right is CX-RAY
If this were a semi-finished CX-RAY before flattening, the round-butted section should be 1.5mm in diameter, but it's 1.8mm.
In other words, somehow a Race (non-CX-RAY) got mixed in rather than a Laser, but since we stock Race mainly as replacement stock for Easton wheels and rarely buy Sapim Race otherwise, it definitely got mixed up in the CX-RAY batch.
