Just a Beer, Please

You know those small appetizer plates that appear at izakayas and other bars—the ones called "otoshi" or "tsukidashi"—well, some people feel unsettled about having to pay for them.
They didn't order it, but it just appears in front of them, and then they get charged. I personally think of it as a table charge, but those who aren't happy with it say
"I didn't order this, they brought it without asking, and now they want money for it."
That point about "didn't order it" is pretty crucial, isn't it?
So this time, I came up with a method to get orders for items that aren't quite forced appetizers,
but have a decent chance of being ordered anyway.

And that is this dish: "Chicken Vinegar-Dressed Beer".
The important thing is to make sure it's properly listed on the menu.
"Just a beer, please."
"Understood, sir. (Hehehehe)"

"Hey, I didn't order this though."
"Oh, I thought you'd ordered it after looking at the menu."
↑Whether you can smoothly pull off this response hinges on everything (laughs).

Average check will go up.
But repeat customers will probably go down.
