I write about the same things every day, but today's another one of those posts.
Today I laced up a 24-hole rear wheel using a customer's PowerTap hub and a rim from Nomu Lab Wheel No. 1.
Since it's 24 holes, it's a 46-spoke pattern.
Peeking in through the valve hole (and so on).
The left cap was cracked.
The customer said it's on order, but since I spray water on the spokes during soldering the lead wires, I had to be a bit careful.
I was planning to build wheels like crazy today, but I didn't get very far due to spoke shortages and such.
I'm dreading tomorrow.
