A customer left me a Bora One rear wheel to work on.

He said it's only been about a month since he bought it,
but it got taken out by the lower fangs of a Metal Stag (→here) while riding in the Yodogawa riverbed.

↑There's a crack right at the midpoint phase of the G3,
and when you push on it with your finger it creaks, so unfortunately the rim is done for.
"I'm never going through the Yodogawa riverbed again"
"I learned the hard way after messing up"
"When I saw that crack in the rim, my knees shook"
That's what he said.
Trying to casually ride right through a Metal Stag without dismounting is
a gamble where you weigh the pretty trivial return of "getting through quickly"
against the risk of "your wheel sometimes seriously dying."
Just get off and walk through like a sensible person.
