Another day with wheels (and so on).

I had a customer's Shamal Ultra front wheel in for repair.
I ordered both a rim and stickers, but only the stickers
arrived surprisingly quickly—this is the follow-up to that story.
The rim finally showed up, so I'm rebuilding it.

It looks like it got hit hard from the side by a car or something—
the rim is completely warped like a potato chip.
Looking at the seam from the side, you can see a clear "CRACK☆" mark where it snapped.

All built up.

When I line up the old and new rims side by side, aligning them by valve hole position...

You can see how much gap there is on the opposite side.
