Another wheel day (and so on).

A customer brought in a Zonda front wheel for me to work on.

They said they hit it on a parking barrier, and sure enough, the rim is warped.

While replacing the rim, they also asked me to fix the hub rotation,
which was feeling rough. But since the bearings showed no wear,
I just cleaned and re-greased them.

I used to think that thread-locking compound wasn't very effective
once loosening had started, but lately I've been thinking that maybe
it could prevent seizing by keeping sand from getting lodged in the threads.

Rim replacement complete.

I aligned the hub phase—visible through the valve hole—
with the Campagnolo logo sticker.

On a separate note, I've got another Zonda from the same era that also needs

a rim replacement.
