That bamboo frame bike I mentioned

is finally finished.

The center of the handlebar and the center of the front wheel are aligned with the frame's centerline,
but the head tube and stem are offset to the right,
so it ends up looking like this.

I'm going the budget-conscious route, so I slapped on a Turbo saddle from my personal stash.
I've had it recovered with lizard leather, but let's not dwell on that.

The pedals are Mikashima (MKS) Lambda pedals.

This FC-7800 left crank
has a cadence magnet built into it.

But since the chainstay is so long,
I don't think the speed/cadence sensor would be able to detect
the wheel magnet reliably.
Anyway, here's the thing about this bike—
I thought my friend was going to ride it, but turns out a friend of his is actually going to be riding it,
and in that case, I can't exactly stick that sketchy Dura-Ace crank on there.

So I went ahead and hunted down
what might be a less sketchy Dura-Ace crank.

↑Nope, looks sketchy.

↑Even sketchier.
I'll settle the bike's name in part 2 later on.
