I Stocked Up on imeZ Sealant

The other day, someone from a brand called imeZ (イメジ) called me up and asked if I'd be interested since they'd started making sealant, so I decided to stock it.
I didn't make any promise to introduce it here,
but they certainly must have anticipated this kind of outcome.
That nomu-lab uses it too! kind of thing—
I'm actually worried whether that would be a minus for imeZ's business.
Anyway, regarding the product, I told them I didn't need samples or free stuff;
I just wanted to stock it normally through regular wholesale.

It arrived. Now that I see the logo, I remember
I've built wheels with their carbon rims several times in the past.

The packaging looks almost identical, but the one with
a plus sign on the upper right of the imeZi name (the image on the right)
is what Stans calls a race sealant as opposed to tire sealant—
in other words, the thicker version.
The thinner, thin-type version is almost pure white,

but the thicker microfiber type
has bits that look like chocolate chips mixed in.

Both are based on synthetic latex and alcohol-free,
so they're less irritating to tires, wheels, and skin.
Apparently they also have the characteristic of not clumping up easily.

At 500ml for ¥2,500 (before tax), the price per unit is higher than Stans—
actually pricier than cheap whiskey
(whiskey usually comes in 700ml bottles, so
at the same unit price it would be ¥3,500).

I flushed out the sealant from my own tubeless rear wheel,
scraped off the lumps, then added 30ml of the thinner imeZ version,
and there's no air leak—it looks good.

Of course it's a liquid, but
the texture isn't like thin water;
it's more like a potage consistency,
and the smell is exactly like wood glue.
