Dura-Ace Chain Didn't Go Up in Price

In mid-March this year, we received notice that Shimano products would have a price adjustment effective May 1st.
Among the items on that list, the only chain with a price adjustment was
Dura-Ace CN-HG901.

↑This shows the price increase from the May 1st, 2018 price adjustment (→here).
Currently, prices have been increasing gradually,
and all are 116-link spec at the following pre-tax list prices:
CN-HG901 ¥5,223
CN-HG701 ¥4,758
CN-HG601 ¥3,641
At the May 1st, 2018 chain price adjustment,
everything except the CN-HG901 saw massive increases,
so now the price difference between Dura-Ace and Ultegra
has shrunk to within ¥500.
For the price adjustment scheduled for May 1st, 2020,
the CN-HG901 price increase was being retroactively aligned,
and it was supposed to reach around ¥6,500 pre-tax, over ¥7,000 including tax.
However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the price adjustment was postponed
to July 1st, 2020 instead.
And regarding the price adjustment list, the contents differ from the May 1st version.
Not a single chain item received a price adjustment
(Connect pins for 6-8S, 9S, 10S, and 11S all saw increases of around 101-103%).

Among the items with large increases, for example,
brake disc washers went from ¥190 to ¥351 (184.7%),
and there's a tendency to do whatever they want on cheap parts on the sly.
As virtually the only price cut, the non-graded crankset
FC-R460's 48T outer chainring dropped from ¥7,112 to ¥3,116 (43.8%),
and it seems like having just one discounted item allows them
to call it a "price adjustment" rather than a "price increase"

as a matter of convenience.
I mean, something getting that cheap is weird in itself too.

While it's good news that the Dura-Ace chain price increase from May 1st
was averted for now,
anticipating the initial announcement,

I'd been stockpiling CN-HG901
to run a sale at old-price-based special prices after the increase.

So even though the price increase didn't happen,
we're doing the sale anyway.
Protected by perfect security from our considerate staff, the price is hidden,
but we've been able to set the tax-included selling price lower than the pre-tax list price of the 105.
The effort it took to squeeze that much in...

The giant panda mascot that brings in customers
was saying "last will and testament" back when that incident happened,
but he's doing just fine with no issues.
Also, I based the drawing style on yesterday's envelope illustration.

We cannot hold items on reserve over the phone.
There are no purchase limits per person.
We've sourced everything in connect pin spec,
but we can exchange them to quick link spec if you prefer.
And probably, I have a feeling we'll go through
a lot of ¥500 coins as change,
so if you could bring exact change or
buy an even number of chains, that would help.
