Built a wheel with LWC's 25mm high carbon tubular rim

Today it's wheels again (and so on).

I received an LWC 25mm high carbon rim from a customer.
When weight is applied in this way, it won't show up in the archive.
So I figured I'd at least document it visually.

Got it built.

With red aluminum nipples.
I'll do the final truing later.

On a wheel-unrelated note,

I found another defective CX-RAY with the butted section oriented 90 degrees sideways,
so I rejected it.
The top image is from last time, and the bottom is the one I rejected this time.

Are you serious.

Since both had the same pre-machined length,
I suspect this defect is likely limited to a specific batch from that time period,
so I ran a full inspection of all our in-stock inventory of that length,
but found no defective products.

One more thing unrelated to today's wheel build.
About the DT red aluminum nipples I used for this wheel too—
the distributor had been out of stock for a while,
but today I confirmed they'd been restocked, so I ordered some
and they're already out of stock again.
When I buy these, I tend to end up buying the very last one,
but I wonder why that is (playing dumb).
