Euraus

I received a Euraus from a customer for service.

There's nothing particularly worth noting about the inspection.
The Fulcrum wheel that corresponds to this is the Racing 1, but
that was discontinued quite a while ago.
Since then we've had this odd situation where Zero is followed directly by 3.

↑The Euraus was also listed in the catalog through 2019, but
even though the Shamal Ultra and Shamal Mille became wide rims (C19),
it apparently deliberately kept its narrow rim (C17) spec unchanged,
and unlike the Racing 1, it remained in the lineup without being discontinued.

I bought the last Neutron Ultra from a distributor's stock
as my personal wheel, but
it remained available on the catalog for over half a year after the listed year
and was sold as limited stock. After I bought mine,
it never came back in stock.

In the photo of the Euraus at the beginning, it comes with a new blue wheel bag,
but the first time I saw this was as an accessory with the Bora WTO.

And at that point already, the Euraus was
not discontinued in the catalog year,
but Japanese distributor stock had been gone for over half a year.
What I'm trying to say is, from a timing perspective,
there's no way the Euraus would come with a blue wheel bag.
Not if it came through Japanese distributors.

More than a year after Japanese distributor stock of the Euraus
was completely depleted with no restocks,
somehow multiple overseas online shops still had
Euraus inventory mysteriously appearing, marketed as
"the last narrow rim!" It goes out of stock, but then
a little later it pops back up again.
From this pattern and the fact that it comes with a blue wheel bag,
Campagnolo is apparently still producing the Euraus
for some pocket money exclusively for overseas online retailers.

For some time now, Fulcrum wheels in the Racing 3,
standard Racing Zero, Competizione, and Knight price ranges
no longer come with wheel bags.
The bags come with Racing Zero Carbon and Speed models and above.

The current Shamal Ultra has the official part number WH17-SHC,
which means "Wheel 2017~ Shamal Clincher."

If it were the Shamal Ultra DB 2WAY-FIT,
it would be WH19-SH2D,
meaning "Wheel 2019~ Shamal 2WAY Disc."

When it's the final Euraus model,
it's WH12-EUC (rear wheel only WH13-EUC for Shimano white anodized aluminum freebody),
which tells you it's a continuing model from 2012 onward.
That is, around 2012 and 2013, even wheels in the Euraus price range
came with wheel bags, but
in 2019 and 2020, they couldn't very well change that spec,
and yet the manufacturer stock of the old black wheel bags had also run out, so
this virtually impossible combination of "Euraus + blue wheel bag"
has appeared—one that can definitively be pinned as a very recent assembly.
With a blue wheel bag, the hub body inside should have
a white inspection slip hanging on it, but
the combination of Euraus with that inspection slip
would be virtually impossible with items from Japanese distributors.

Changing topics, only Shimano 11-speed got
white anodized aluminum freebody in 2013,
so the final Neutron Ultra model is
for Campagnolo both wheels WH7-NEC,
and for Shimano 11-speed rear wheel only WH13-NEC.

This is a separate matter—a brand new Euraus I received
for component assembly work, and the source was again an overseas online shop.
When I asked the customer, the included wheel bag was blue.
