I'm using CX-RAY spokes on the wheel from my previous post,
but I found 2 defective ones so I rejected them.

↑These guys

First one.
The flattened direction of the butted section and the angle of the neck are off.

When viewed from the direction where the flattened section is thinnest,
the angle is slightly off from the 90° lateral position.

Second one.
The defect is the same cause.

This one is only slightly off from the 90° lateral position,
and the direction of deviation is opposite to the first one.

When I line them up at the flattened section and view from the side . . .

↑looks like this

When I put a normal spoke in as a third one . . .

↑looks like this
Having 2 out of the 36 spokes I initially picked up
be defective like this is quite a high failure rate.
but I found 2 defective ones so I rejected them.
