The title is just a play on the opening of the Nijokawaraharagaki graffiti,
though I'm not sure if fake Enve systems are actually trending.

A customer dropped off the rear wheel from a Nomulab Wheel No. 2.

There's a Smart Enve System sticker on it,
but this is not an ENVE rim.
Anyway, moving on...

↑The rim is

↑Cracked and deformed in two places from a crash.
The customer slid out on wet pavement while descending Mt. Rokko.
The tires are Vittoria Rubino Pro tubular,
(not implying the crash was caused by these tires, just to be clear),
and despite the rim being crushed at those locations and everywhere else,
the tires sustained no damage. They're still usable.
The customer saysthese tires slip like crazy when wet, so
they won't use them again.

I'll be replacing the rim — this is a 2013 WH007 rim,
and I'll be rebuilding it with a 2020 WH199 rim.
The rim height and finish look the same,
but the rim width goes from 19.1mm to 20.5mm.

Relocating the rim...

All built up.
